'Not only is punishment risky, but it also fails to teach the dog an acceptable alternate behaviour. The dog does not learn what to do the next time he is in the same situation. He only learns to fear the situation.' Emma Parsons, Click to Calm p73

A ball thrown, whizzing through the air.

A cuddle in the morning, when it's too cold to emerge from under the covers.

A lazy afternoon passed in drowsy bliss.

A lick on the nose when you get home from a long, hard day.

True definitions of love! Isn't it great? :)

That's cheered us all up in a week when we've heard sad news about a number of much-loved dogs passing away.

We should treasure every day and make the most of every moment.

Thanks for reminding me of all the love in the world in Lola's lovely little face.

Love and licks, Winnie
